Do you all have a skin care routine?? Well I sure do. I always have. Ever since I was 16, I have been concerned with slowing the signs of aging (I know, I know 16 is silly but if that was my only obsession at that time in my life I count myself lucky!!).
I have always had a strict routine with my skin, always washing away my make-up, always applying moisturizer, and OF COURSE, always wearing spf of 15 or more. Now I will admit I’ve never followed more than moisturizer daily for the rest of my body and I definitely didn’t follow the sun block rules with my body either. Now that I’m older I am picking up the slack in that area.
As the years have gone by I have added different spot treatments, eye creams, retin A, peels and so on. Believe me I have spared no expense on it either. Before getting married, the one thing I needed to make clear to my husband was that I would never stop using the best of the best on my skin and that could potentially cost some heavy change. Thankfully he agreed to that because we have been married for 5 years now 🙂
When I say best of the best I mean it. I have used really amazing skin care lines. One of my favorites being from France…….and you had to buy at least $5,000 worth a year…….which was easily met!!! THANK GOD my friend who is an esthetician, shared the cost with me and another girl.
Then…………I had kids. My face and anything else worth taking care of, went out the window. I was still sticking with my routine but I couldn’t bring myself to spend the money that I was spending.
So, since I’ve always followed as natural of a regimen as possible, I dabbled in making my own skin care products with Young Living Essential Oils and organic carrier butters and balms. That, just like making my own cleaning products, got old fast. Not only was it hard to try to get a recipe right, it was also kind of dangerous. Essential oils are incredibly strong. I can’t even imagine the damage I could have done if I didn’t have basic knowledge of what I was using.
Then I found Shaklee. I had already been using their cleaning products for a year and then decided to go all in and start selling it. Between improving my health with the vitalizer and using their entire Enfuselle line I was hooked and so was my skin.
Yes I purchased the entire dry skin kit. I had just had a baby 2 months prior and my skin was a desert!! I had never experienced dry skin. If anything it was oily. But you know how hormones are!! They got the best of me and my face!!
As I said above, I was nervous to buy the kit for dry skin. Any experience I had in the past with stuff for dry skin, was wayyyyy to oily. Well not this. It was perfect. It melted into my skin like velvet. One of my all time favorite products from the kit is the C + E Repair cream. You can read all about it in this post. The running Shaklee joke we always use is #smoothasababysbutt because that is exactly how it makes your face feel!!
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that there are no parabens, and none of the products are tested on animals.
In about 14 short days, and just three minutes of Enfuselle Nutrition Therapy morning and night, I noticed my skin looking younger – AWESOME.
Clinical studies confirmed:
- 665% increase in skin firmness
- 421% reduction in the appearance of wrinkles
- 88% reduction in the appearance of fine lines
And guess what………..my patient husband who still married me knowing that I would spend thousands in skin care throughout our life is totally happy because the cost of the entire kit is the same price that I would have paid for a tiny tub of eye cream in the past!!
So there ya have it!! That’s my fountain of youth!! Of course everyone should take a great supplement, eat whole foods, exercise, get enough sleep and drink a ton of water. Who are we kidding?? Who is able to do all of those things?? Not me that is for sure!!
Are you ready to jump on the Enfuselle train! Your skin will thank you!!
